The Cultural Center Marco Valcarcel of the Ourense Provincial Council will host from next Thursday 23, an Exhibition homage on the fifth anniversary of the death of Leopoldo Nóvoa in Paris, February 23, 2012

A total of 19 works between canvases and graphic work carried out between 1993 and 2012 (including his last picture painted) realized in his study of Armenteira.

Since Leopoldo Nóvoa built his house in Armenteira in 1983, he spent long periods there, practically half the year. In that workshop was precisely where he began to work with ashes, one of the elements will define the keys of his creative language from those years: the capacity for synthesis, constant work with matter, the search of space and recreation of Light with its many possibilities.
